Pete

We just lost a wonderful father. He was a great example to us all. He demostated great courage with his cancer even down to the last moment of his death. We will miss his guidence and advice. We loved him so much and miss the time we had with him. While he was recovering from surgery & having cemo we would go on friday nights and bring dinner and watch 2 movies. One night he said "I have a ultimate torpedo for dessert" It was a fresh strawberry pie from Sandys it cost $18.00 but it was wonderful. He was so giving, when we had a wedding or baby shower he would buy a gift and sign the card love grandma Norma. He always had a funny saying or joke. We loved going to his house on Sundays which he always had treats, we also loved the produce from his wonderful garden. Last year he planted pumpkins for the great grandkids they all enjoyed them. They will get 1 more because he planted them this year.
We are all sad he is gone but we know he is where he wanted to be with Norma, they were reunited on their anniversary.

Dream Trip - HAWAII

In October 2007 we went to Hawaii, We were so excited to go. At the airport our flight was to leave at 10:00am, but they kept changing the time we finally was able to board at 1:50pm little did we know they needed the gate so we sat on the tarmac for 1 1/2 hrs. They told us that it was raining in San Francisco and the airport was closed, but they finally said we could leave. When we got there we circled what felt like forever, the pilot finally said we have one shot well guess what? yup we didn't make it and then the pilot said we were almost out of fuel so we flew to Sacramento. Finally we get to San Francisco at 8:30 PM and because we were so late they had no gates left so we were parked on the tarmac and had to get off the planes steps SCARY[hello I'm in a wheelchair] we finally walked to the terminal and found out every flight to Hawaii has left. So we stand in line for 2 hrs to rebook. Saturday afternoon we finally arrive in Hawaii. They brought my wheelchair and it was bent they dropped it off the plane[is this nightmare ever going to end] after they bent it back we were off to find our luggage. We finally got to our hotel and they upgraded us to a suite it was way cool it had a living room, 2 bathrooms, bedroom and 2 balcony's.[has our luck changed] yes, we had a wonderful time. I would love to go again but we will take a direct flight.
